HEALTH & SAFETY

HEALTH AND SAFETY INFORMATION

First Aid teams and emergency ambulances are available at all event sites. If you need assistance, speak to any staff member onsite.

The closest hospital, Mater Dei, is located in Msida—approximately 20 to 30 minutes from all venues.

If you require medical treatment, please bring your passport and ensure you have full comprehensive travel insurance. DLT Malta does not accept liability for any attendees travelling without insurance.

For UK citizens, we recommend to carry a GHIC card. You can apply HERE.

The Chat Bar is a support hub where festival-goers can find help for emotional challenges they may experience.

Professional chat bar staff will be stationed at all the main venues near the medical tent wearing orange Chat Bar polo tops. Chat Bar signs around the venues will also be in orange for easy identification.

Keep an eye out for signs labelled “See Something, Say Something,” which has a QR code that connects directly to a confidential WhatsApp chat run by the welfare team.

DLT Malta 2025 has a zero tolerance policy on illegal substances. The possession, use, or distribution of illegal drugs is a criminal offense under Maltese law and will lead to:

  • Immediate removal from the event

  • Police involvement

  • A lifetime ban from all future DLT events

To enhance safety, drink covers will be available at all venues, and guests are urged not to leave drinks unattended. Your wellbeing is our top priority.
